Pedrina Park Pavilion and Inclusive Sports Hub

We worked closely with the Southern Grampians Shire Council to augment and expand an existing sports pavilion at Pedrina Park in Hamilton. We modified the existing pavilion to include female-friendly change facilities, and developed flexible new areas suitable for functions, meetings, social events and activities.

Working within a restricted and irregular-sized footprint, we designed a contemporary, attractive façade and incorporated Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD) principles in addition to ensuring access and mobility compliance.

The efficient floorplan maximised use of internal space and external decks to create a true multi-use facility that will serve the community for decades to come.

Just three months was all the time needed to turn an ambitious idea into a bespoke new sales suite, ready for occupancy by ICD Property and Supalai, property developers of the Geelong-based Gen Fyansford residential development.

The design was conceived to reflect the values of the residential estate being developed around it - modern, attractive, high-quality and family-friendly. Highlighted by an eye-catching pitched roof, the concept took shape within days and quickly progressed to starting construction in our modular factory.

The site was transformed in under a week, with just six days needed to place footings and fully install the modular sections comprising the 130-square-metre suite. Stairs, a ramp, external deck and landscaping completed the installation for handover within the client's expedited timeframe.

Warrnambool Primary School extension

Two new modular classrooms added 'wow' factor to the school's existing heritage infrastructure, including an operable wall and a central withdrawal space for independent or group activities.

Our bespoke design makes best use of natural light, ocean breezes and coastal views, while the finishes chosen invite interaction between users and their classroom. Thoughtful touches such as incorporating the school's logo into the final design framework added a unique stamp and have drawn positive feedback from the school community.

With a brief to significantly increase capacity for this growing school in Melbourne's outer east, we enlarged existing hall space and engineered it to flow into existing facilities, including clever use of natural light and ventilation.

A new deck and inclusion of independent sanitary facilities was designed to revitalise this space into one that can be utilised by both the school and the broader community.
